On Saturday, March 14th around 200 SVA volunteers helped out at the Christchurch Color Run. This was an amazing day with heaps of enthusiastic volunteers, music, dancing and of course lots of paint!
We arrived bright and early at the UCSA carpark at 6:30am on Saturday morning and loaded our volunteers onto buses to be taken to the Canterbury showgrounds. During the day, our volunteers were placed around the course throwing paint, marshalling and cheering on the runners. SVA was also on hand with a sausage sizzle to sustain all of our hard working volunteers. The day ended with a paint-throwing dance party and we hope all of our amazing volunteers had as much fun as we did!
Thanks again to everyone who came along and made it such a fantastic day!
