We're teaming up with City Care and the Park Rangers to help restore the breeding habitat of the Black Billed Gull which is the worlds most endangered Gull species. Out at the Charleston reserve we will be spreading gravel on small islands to recreate their natural breeding habitat. So if you're keen to help out a native bird species and have a delicious BBQ afterwards then sign up on the app to come. Transport will be provided on the day.

There'll be a live band playing some bangers for you as well so we've got all bases covered for a good night. We'd love to see you come celebrate with us.

Last December, a crowd funding campaign was started by Robert Henderson, managing director of Cycle Solutions, to initiate a bike-share scheme in the Christchurch CBD. Things went well and even Spark got on the campaign as the branding partner!
The bikes are finally arriving at the end of this month and will then be placed at five sites around the city. Two of these sites however still needs help in landscaping work. Soils needs to be removed, some boxes needs to be placed, and eventually compacting some base course down.
Help Christchurch achieve a milestone by taking part in this project.
Transportation will be provided, exclusive perks to volunteers to this scheme offered by Rob himself, and a fun-filled day out in the city!
