Your donation can change lives today
With over 33,500 registered volunteers, SVA is a leader of second wave crisis response, helping communities recover and clean-up after disaster.
Our powerful network of volunteers is mobilising, ready to respond to community need and support those who have suffered.
But we need your help to send them out safely with PPE and clean-up equipment. We need your help to keep our operations running effectively. We need your help to transport our volunteers to crisis sites, accommodate and feed them at the end of a long day.
You have never been more important to those who have suffered and lost so much. Your support ensures that our volunteers are equipped, trained and ready to do what needs to be done for their community.
Together, we can and will support them.

How will your donation be used?
SVA promises you that we will use every dollar in the best possible way. Your donation will be tagged and used in the affected region.
There are several stages to a crisis and your gift will be used for to support one or more of these areas:
Immediate response: In the immediate aftermath of an event, the SVA team reaches out to local and national Civil Defence to coordinate any response. SVA uses its social media channels to share urgent messages to help keep people safe.
Practical crisis response: If appropriate, SVA will mobilise a group of volunteers to support and help rebuild the community in a crisis. Your donation could be used for tools to clear houses and remove debris, PPE to keep our volunteers safe or accommodation and travels costs.
Partners: SVA has an extensive network of partners. We may partner with another charity, agency or community group that are present in the community and your donation will be used to support their response.
