Recognise the volunteers shaping Australia's future
The SVA Service Award recognises young Australians with awards for their volunteering and service — and gives them a credible, documented record (SVA Summary of Service) that builds character, confidence, and career-ready credentials.
By making volunteering visible and valued, the Service Award builds confidence, strengthens employability, and supports lifelong civic engagement.

What is the SVA Service Award?
Schools and teachers get a simple, easy, and structured way to track, support, and celebrate the impact their students are making.

How it works
Your school signs up through our key partner, School Kit.
Students log their volunteering hours through the SVA app.
Students earn badges as they reach milestones.
Students earn an SVA Certificate recognised by employers, universities, TAFE institutions, scholarship bodies, and community organisations across Australia.
They build a Summary of Service — a credential that will benefit for life.

Summary of Service
The Summary of Service is a clear, student-owned record of a young person's volunteering journey. It brings together volunteering hours, UNSDGs contributed to, and beneficiaries helped into a simple, credible summary — one that students can use for job applications, university entry, scholarships, and beyond.
